Miriam Răducanu – Rigor and SenZ

Created on the occasion of choreographer Miriam Răducanu’s centenary, the film brings for the first time photographic and video documents recovered from both public archives and the private archives of artists who collaborated with her from the 1960s to today, as well as from her personal archive. The film marks Miriam Răducanu’s contribution to the development of modern dance in Romania, presenting to the public an important and authentic cultural reference point. “For me, the art of dance has never for a moment been separated from senZ,” confessed the artist, who in October 2024 turned 100.

The film was produced within the project Miriam Răducanu – an archival exhibition with SenZ and is co-produced by the National Center for Dance Bucharest (CNDB) and Romanian Television (TVR).
