The contemporary dance performance –The Island– proposes a bridge between the freedom of childhood and the adult's struggle to find their own refuge and a unique sense of communion and peace. The action takes place on a deserted island, where the performers experience various states, natural phenomena, and memories from the near and distant past.

 

In everything it encompasses, The Island is a performance about a utopian discipline of existence, but also about the multiple manifestations of the beauty of falling and finding oneself – even on a deserted island.
