We sought to create a synthesis between the arts of stillness and the arts of movement. We wanted to see this synthesis embodied in the dancer's body, the only medium capable of uniting sculpture and rhythm. Additionally, we aimed for an exercise in shaping and traversing space, with forms drawn by the body's movements and stillness as an act.
From these thoughts, the performance "Sculpting Space" was born, which explores the relationship between the body, matter, the space in which the performance takes place, and the audience; each of these components plays a well-defined role in understanding the entire act.
Moreover, "Sculpting Space" also proposes an immersion into spaces of different sizes, even with different utilities and characteristics, pursuing a journey into what we define and feel as "space."
What does the audience leave behind after visiting a space? What endures after a performer's act? What types of thoughts, emotions, and movements are preserved?
It was the time of a moving sculpture for the artwork to confront the viewer. ~ Mihaela
... There isn’t a more divine feeling than realizing how art is life and how the stage is every surrounding we step into. I truly want to express my gratitude for this floating moment in which you managed to break the boundary between the public and the stage. There is no difference. We are all and truth lies in movement and connection. We are all one, we are all freedom itself in one big eternal soul. Thank you for creating magic. ~ Fran

Perhaps it’s the first time I’ve felt such intense emotion. A mix of feelings, from rebirth to death, love, addiction, longing, ecstasy, pain, happiness. I don’t know how I could feel all these simultaneously. ~ Nadejda
